Terms of Service

Effective July 31, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Teddy Code LLC for the use of Arrullo. Please read them, particularly the health and hearing-safety sections.

1

Acceptance

By installing or using Arrullo you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app. Arrullo is provided by Teddy Code LLC, State of New Mexico, United States.

2

Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Arrullo on devices you own or control, for your own private, non-commercial use. All rights not granted here are reserved.

3

What you may not do

You may not:

  • copy, sell, rent, sublicense or otherwise redistribute the app or any part of it;
  • extract, export or redistribute the bundled audio files, whether on their own or inside another product;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
  • remove or alter any attribution, copyright or licence notice;
  • use the app for anything unlawful, or in a way that interferes with anyone else.
4

Ownership and third-party material

Arrullo's name, logo, artwork, code and interface belong to Teddy Code LLC.

The sound recordings bundled with the app are public-domain (CC0) field recordings, and the interface glyphs are Phosphor Icons under the MIT licence. Those licences cover the underlying works, not Arrullo as a whole. The full attribution list is available at contact@teddy-code.com.

5

Not a medical device

Arrullo is a relaxation and ambient-sound app. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent insomnia, sleep apnoea, tinnitus, anxiety or any other condition, and nothing in the app is medical advice.

If you have persistent trouble sleeping, or you are concerned about your own sleep or your child's, speak to a qualified health professional.

6

Volume and hearing safety

Listen at a low, comfortable level. Prolonged exposure to loud sound can damage hearing. The risk is higher with headphones, and higher still for infants and young children.

If you use Arrullo near a baby, keep the device well away from the crib and the volume low. The playback volume on your device is your responsibility.

7

Sleep timer and background playback

The sleep timer and background playback depend on your device's operating system. Battery savers, task-killers, incoming calls and other apps can pause or stop playback.

Arrullo is not an alarm clock. Do not rely on it to wake you, to time anything important, or in any situation where a failure to start or to stop could cause harm.

8

Price, advertising and future features

Arrullo is currently free and shows no advertising. Later versions may add advertising or optional extras. Any such change arrives through an app update, with the terms and the privacy policy in the app updated to match.

9

Availability and changes to the app

We may change, suspend or discontinue Arrullo or any of its features at any time, and we may release updates that add, alter or remove functionality. We are not obliged to keep any particular sound, feature or version available.

10

No warranty

Arrullo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that playback will continue for any given period.

11

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Teddy Code LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, rest, revenue or opportunity arising from your use of Arrullo. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app, which for the free version is zero.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12

Termination

This licence ends automatically if you breach these terms, and you may end it at any time by uninstalling the app. Sections 4, 10, 11 and 13 survive termination.

13

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you use the app as a consumer in a country whose law gives you rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights are unaffected.

14

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date above shows when the current version took effect, and the updated text is published in the app. Continuing to use Arrullo after an update means you accept the new terms.
